Our Little Peanut!!

We took Kimber to her 4 month appointment yesterday and she is still so little! She is growing just a little bit at a time. She is 10 pounds 15.5 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long. She is the size of some newborns and she is 4 1/2 months. Hopefully she will get on the charts soon! She is getting the cutest personality and is such a happy little girl even when she is sick. She definitely is the sunshine of both mine and Brandon's life. We could not imagine life without her! She is starting to giggle and she loves to reach for things and grab them. I can't believe how much they grow and learn in such little timing. She has started to suck on her bottom lip and it is the funiest thing ever! I could go on forever about how she lightens up my life, but I better stop. Here are some updated pictures of our little princess:

Well our little Angel Kimber Ashlyn Edwards arrived on September 26 at 6:47 AM and she weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. She is a little thing so we had to go out and buy some preemie outfits for her.

She has been so much fun to have for the last 6 weeks and she is getting so big. Here is a pic of her that I took when she was a month old...

Well since 35 weeks it has just been that countdown of when my baby girl will be here. I thought that Tuesday the 14th was the day. I woke up at 2:00 in the morning with some bad pains, but I stood up and they went away after a minute so that was a false alarm. I have had some pains here and there but nothing to the point that I cannot stand them. That day was my regular doctor appointment and he said that I am dilated to a 2 and 70% efaced so I am making some progress.

On August 24th my cute department had a shower for me and it was a surprise and it went so good. They had games and all! They were planning on having it the day after my hubby had his surgery, but I was not there and they were totally bummed cause they had made favors that said my shower date of the 19th. It turned out so good!!

On September 1st my cute family had a shower for me and me and Kimber got so spoiled! Today I have another shower with all of Brandon's family and friends from up this way and I am SURE that we will get spoiled at this one as well, so anyday Kimber you can come!! I feel like Kimber is going to fall out of my tummy today so hopefully that is a good sign. I will keep all of you updated on when she gets here!!

35 Weeks and counting.....

Well I am now 35 weeks and getting so excited to see Kimber! She is such a mover and I am so excited to see what she looks like. I washed all her clothes today so it is getting so close. I have not been so good on taking pictures of my prego belly, but I will try and take some these next few weeks for sure. Me and Brandon had our last "Child Birthing" class last Tuesday and I loved it, not sure that he did though! I learned a lot even though I thought I was all ready, I really wasn't. I really recommend any new time parents to go to the classes cause you learn a ton!! I will keep you posted on when our little angel comes into this world.

Also, last wednesday my poor husband had to get his appendix taken out so we are kind of nursing each other right now. He has been such a trooper through all of this. He has never had a surgery and he really pulled through it really good. We would like to thank everyone that came to the hospital, sent "Get Well" gifts and came to the house to visit, it really meant a lot to us!!

On April 26th I went over to one of the centers that I work for and got an ultrasound and they said that i was having a girl. Well today i went to my OB ultrasound and they said that we are for sure having a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I am still alive and here! I am just such a slacker when it comes to these blogs, but I need to start posting to get ready for our New Addition.

No we are not getting another dog, but this time we are Pregnant! We couldn't be more excited to be a mommy and daddy. I am due September 23rd and as of right now I am 18 weeks along. It is so fun to see the progression and read about how big the baby is and what features the little bundle of joy has at this point.

At the first of April we went to St. George for Easter and my silly mom and hubby wanted to know what the baby was so we went to this place kinda like Fetal Fotos down there and did an ultrasound. They said the baby is a BOY! Well, I took the pictures to show my co-workers and some of the girls there weren't so sure that it looked like a boy so we are still not to sure on what the baby is at this point.

Where I work they do ultrasounds so Monday I am going to go and get another opinion so we will be sure on monday hopefully! I have my actual ultrasound with my OB on May 13th so after that we better be positive on what it is!! I will post those updates as soon as I know them.

Also, last Sunday April 18th was our 1st anniversary!! YAY! I was so sick and we haven't even been able to celebrate, but I was able to just relax with my man so that is all I care about!

New York Trip!

Hello! Yes I am still blogging, just slow. Back at the first of August I went on a trip with my mom and sisters to New York! We went to a couple of plays, went to Regis and Kelly which Regis was out so Ashton Kutcher was the guest cohost, went to Good Morning America and the Today show! It was a really fun trip and I loved being with my mom and sisters. The worst part was being away from my cute hubby for that long. We shopped a ton and I got the experience of riding a taxi and risking my life!! When you see the taxis in the movies, that is really how it is in New York. We spent a lot of time in Time Square and went around Central Park! We also sae Max and Karina from dancing with the stars. Here are some pics:

As you all know, this is the Statue of Liberty. When we were getting onto the water taxi to take us out there, they had to delay because of the plane that crashed into the Hudson river. That was horrible!

As we were walking back one night, I saw this building and I thought this was an awesome picture.

This is a picture of us in Central Park. We went around the park in a Bicycle Taxi, yes one guy took all four of us around the whole park on a bike!

This was a very fun trip and I want to thank my mom and sisters for a good time! In September, Brandon went on his Big Bull Elk Hunt and shot an Elk. Once I get the pctures loaded to the computer I will put some on here. Today we went to Wyoming so I could Antelope hunt and I got some shots, but no luck :(. Stay tuned for the rest of our hunting adventures, it has just begun!!

New Addition..

As you can see in the picture above I finally convinced Brandon to get a dog! She is a little spunky one, but she is so much fun so far. I will let you know about our little journey with her and if anyone has any advice on puppies please let me know! She is 9 weeks old and she is a min pin!

I just wanted to congratulate Tyler and Shaylee Britt on their marriage. Their wedding was on June 20th and it was so pretty and I cannot tell you how creative the Britts and Struchens are. I wish I just had half of their creative juices. It did rain during the ceremony, but it turned out to be a great night. They have to be the cutest and funnest couple that I have ever met and I cannot wait to see them as they start their lives together.... Congrats again you 2! I wish I had some pics, but spacey me forgot the camera! Sorry everyone!

So I just wanted to post a little more of our honeymoon pics so here they are....

I learned something new the first day that I was there, I found out that a Rooster is a male chicken. Yes I did show my husband that I was a ditz our first day of our honeymoon. There were chickens everywhere you went. You would be laying on the beach and there would be a chicken walking right on there with you. It was kinda crazy!

The 2 pictures above are on our Sunset Cruise to the Na Pali coast and it was so fun to see all the dolphins swimming right by our boat and we actually saw a couple whales. That was probably my favorite adventure that we went on.

This is at the Dukes restaurant that is right by the Marriot and it was so good. Everyone told us that we had to make it there and we sure were glad that we went. We had an awesome time and I cannot wait until we can get back there. I had so much fun getting to know more about my husband and starting my adventure with him.

So now that we have been married for 10 weeks now I think I better update our blog. Our weddng was so good and it turned out just as I wanted. I still do not have my pictures back so once I get them I will post some. We went to Kauai Hawaii for our honeymoon and we had an awesome time. It rained most of the time, but it gave us a lot of time to drive around the island and see how beautiful it is. Here are some pictures from there...

Girls Night out!

So I am just thinkin about the wedding and totally spaced to tell everyone of what I got to do today. Last night my sister got a hotel for her (Shannon), Jaime, Amy, my mom and me. We went to dinner at Spencer's, which was delicious and then went back to the room and hung out. Today we woke up and went to breakfast and then got ready and went to Massage Envy and all got a massage, it was fantastic!! We hung out until the rehearsal and went to that and then went to dinner at Marie Calendars. It was such an awesome day and I want to thank my sister Shannon for getting the hotel room for the girls. She is such a thoughtful person and I am really lucky to have her as a sister. Also, I want to thank Jaime for being a great sister as well and Amy for being an awesome sister in law. Also, my mom! She is the greatest mom a daughter could ever ask for. Thanks girls for the wonderful night and day!

Hello Everyone! I am up at 10:30 the night before I get married. This will be my last post being a single woman. The next time I post I will be the happiest girl on earth since I will have the man of my dreams married to me and I will be Ashlie Edwards, that has a nice little ring to it doesn't it?! I don't know about anyone else, but I am pretty dang excited to get married and have the best day of my life here! I think my family is ready to have this over with since it has been pretty stressfull the last couple of weeks and I have been kinda on edge (my work will probably be greatful to!).
I just want to let Brandon know how much I love him and how I cannot wait to be his wife. It seems like yesterday that we had our first date and know it is our wedding day, how time flies! We will be heading off to Hawaii on Sunday so when I get back I promise I will post some wedding photo's and honeymoon photo's.
I also want my family to know how much I love them and thank them for all the support with this wedding. I am also so thankful for my new family. I cannot even express how excited I am to have all of these people in my family. I am pretty sure I am the luckiest girl ever to have a great family and marry into a great family. I cannot wait to get to know the Edwards and Fitzgerald families a lot more!

Well I am going to try and sleep now, but I really don't think I will sleep much so wish me luck!!

Birthday Surprise!

So as everyone knows Brandon's birthday was on March 7th. Well my step-dads is on March 15th, so me and my mom thought that we would surprise the men with something that we thought that they would enjoy. On March 14th we took the guys to breakfast and Jims and they opened their surprise. They got a certificate to go and fly a plane out at a place called the Leading Edge Aviation. Here is Brandon's response to the surprise......

Needless to say he was pretty surprised and quite nervous! I felt really bad and kept telling him that he did not need to go if he did not want to. Here is Ricks response to the surprise....

He was so excited to go! We left breakfast and went out to the place and I don't think Ihave ever seen Brandon so nervous in my life! I yet again asked him if he wanted to do it and he said "I better go because if I don't I will regret it." Well it was our turn to go and our instructor was a cute young girl and she first took us around the plane and showed us what they had to do everytime before flying. We then got in the plane and it was mine and Brandon's turn to go first. We put our little headsets on and the instructor got permission to go up in the air and we were off. Once Brandon got up in the air he was having a blast! He got to steer the plane and the way they do it is with their feet which he said was really hard to get used to. We went up Immigration Canyon and back down Parleys Canyon. We did a couple take offs and landings and a couple of other fun things. It was the best experience for all of us! After we got back, the adventure was on for Rick and my mom and I don't know who was more nervouse my mom or Brandon. She really didn't want to go, but we made her go!! I really suggest anyone that likes adventures to go and do this. It is really not that expensive at all to do! Here are a few pictures of our adventure......

First Shower!!!

Hello Everyone! Last week on March 7th I had my first shower! It was thrown by my sisters and sister in law and it was a blast. I got to see all my friends from my old neighborhood, friends from high school, friends from the past years and a lot of family. I have a few pics, but supid me forgot to get my camera until the end of the shower when everyone was leaving. So this past week was my big 25th birthday, yay!! Ok, really I am not excited because I know that I am not only half way to 50, but a quarter of a century! It was a really good and long celebrated birthday which was not to shabby! Last wednesday the 18th my mom and step-dad took me out to dinner to Texas Roadhouse and it was DELICIOUS, that is on my top 5 restaurants. The next day was the big day the 19th and I went to work and my cute friends at work bought me lunch from Italian Village and bought me a cake and cupcakes, and they sang me Happy Birthday! After work I met my fiance and his parents and also my sister and brother-in-law at the RV show and then we went to dinner and Ruby River, another one of my favs. My cute fiance said that he wanted to give my present to me after the weekend because he said he was going to be in the Dog House. Well I am still a kid at heart and could not wait so he gave my present to me and it was a new GUN!! YAY!! I think I will buy him a vacuum for his birthday, JK honey!! My 2 sisters gave me gift cards to my favorite store Buckle and my mom spoiled me and bought me 2 shirts, a skirt and some new levis. My future in-laws gave me my Tiara for my wedding (which I got a while ago to wear for my bridals) and some cute soaps and decorations for our house.

The birthday continued into the weekend where we went up and stayed at our favorite camping spot East Canyon in some condos and got some DELICIOUS food! We got up there friday night and we had chili verde and Shaylee made me the best cake in the world and we played a fun candy game that we almost had a brawl in. It was a really fun night and a good night to hang out with friends and family. Saturday night we had Navaho tacos (which was Shaylees request since it is her birthday today!!) and they were SO good. We hung out and played Wacky Sixes, anybody that hasn't played that and wants an addictive game go and get that, you will be playing for hours!! Sunday we got up and kinda relaxed and then me and Brandon went to my dad's house where we clebrated my dad's, grandma's(which is today as well) and my birthday. We had some enchilada cassrole that my step-mom cooked and I got a gift certificate to Macy's and I can't wait to spend the money! I had a really good birthday and thank you to everyone that I celebrated it with, I love you all!!!

Let me tell you a little bit more about me and Brandon. We met in November 2006 and dated for a couple of months and then went our separate ways for about 8 months. We met up again in August 2007 and have been dating ever since. We got engaged on October 11th 2008 at my Hunters Safety shooting test (I know you are probably wondering what the heck I am doing, but it is quite fun)! Before I met Brandon I wasn't really an outdoorsy kinda gal, but I got likin the outdoors pretty quick! We then bought a house in Clinton at the end of October 2008 and we fixed it up a little and Brandon is now living in it, I have to say that I am a little jelous that he gets to stay there and I don't!

This past weekend was, as you all know, Valentines Day! I think all guys dread this day, but this year was mine and Brandon's first year together so I was lovin it! We actually celebrated the night before by going out to dinner to my favorite place Olive Garden and I got a Wii Fitness! Brandon had to work so I just kinda stayed at our house and lounged all day. That night we played the Wii with one of our good friends and watched a movie. It was a good first Valentines with my man!
